My wife & I went to the Ca' Rainene Olive Farm at Torri del Benaco on Lake Garda and visited with general manager Riccardo Farabegoli and owner Paolo Bonomelli.  We felt like royalty.  We stayed there for several hours, talking about oils (theirs and others), their procedures, the region, the problems in the industry, new marketing ideas they have and products they're introducing, we saw the mill & got a tour around part of the grove.  We did an extensive tasting of their products (geez, they brought out a huge tray of the blue tulip glasses for us and everything!) and we absolutely loved them all.  Briefly, we sampled a single olive oil, a 3 olive variety oil, a 5 variety oil and an oil from olives at 3 separate locations that they own.  They are a small operation, they do all their bottling & labeling by hand and they created an exquisite product.  We've become huge fans.
